The product landscape is nearly as diverse as the sites on the Web. However, if you ask any vendor if their product can run any website, their answer will be "yes (with the proper configuration and integration)." Because web content management systems and portals are both really website development frameworks, how you implement your system can be as important as what platform you choose.

This presentation will introduce different patterns for implementing your system and products that excel in these patterns.
