Sara advices on project planning, web management and product selection in relation to web and intranet projects. She continually researches the CMS and portal market and contributes to several CMS Watch reports.
In the Danish web community she is widely known as the facilitator of a rapidly growing user network through which she has an ongoing dialogue with 150+ users in the fields of online communication, content management, IT and web project management.
Sara holds a masters degree from the institute of information science at the University of Aarhus and started her career as a Usability Architect with IconMedialab. From there she moved on to “real” web work as corporate web master with Dyrup and later as an internal web consultant with Nycomed.
On her mission to lead the way to sustainable and valuable web solutions that provide the best user experience, on the front and back-end she is often heard repeating:
“Implement according to standards - plan according to your organisation.”
Sara presented at cmf2005 and cmf2006 and has also spoken at many other venues.

Web analytics: The value of automated statistics reports
To any overburdened web responsible it sounds like a fairytale whenever a vendor proposes to automate their web statistics reporting. However, when taking a closer look at what makes a good report, the only sure value of an automated process is that the reports are timely. I compare web analytics reports from different organisations using different tools, from Google Analytics to pricy tools like Clientstep and Webtrends and provide a checklist of content for good reports.
