Presentation
Wednesday, November 7th: 10.30 - 12.00
Track: Intranet
The Intranet 3.0 project - how to kick life into a stale intranet
This case study presents the realization of EUMETSAT's next generation intranet, from the initial idea until launch.
The old intranet was not much used, content was hardly ever updated and users looked for information elsewhere.
The project set out to deliver an intranet that would inspire users to use the intranet as the information tool combined with really easy contribution for everyone. All possible aspects were taken into account to ensure a success; graphical design, information structure,
collaboration tools, ...
So, how did we manage this task? How did we get both management and users on board? How was the new intranet received?
Well..., come to this presentation and live demonstration to find out.
In addition, as the project went live just before cmf2007, some real life feedback will be shared as well, including user's first reactions on using a wiki.
