Track: Intranet

Be the innovator: Intranet innovation through employees

Intranet innovation is often about new useful features added to your intranet but there is more to it.

It's about people and how you make them burn passionately for "our" intranet. To many employees the intranet seems like an endless chore: Countless of pages to update, content of questionable relevance to other than the intranet itself, and a system that works agains you, not for you.

Nycomed takes a different approach. Through careful governance of the actual process of making the intranet something that supports the business we work to engage the employees, giving them freedom and responsibility. It is hard work but much more effective and sustainable.

It's about understanding the employees and the barriers they encounter and helping them understand the value added by the intranet. Best practice comes from the heart.
