Katrine Thielke
Consultant, Advice
Katrine is a consultant at Advice, with a focus on digital communication.
She comes from a job in the public administration and has been the driving force behind the weblog of the Danish Patent- and Trademark Office. She has trained 20 webloggers from the traditional and political organisation, and she facilitated the change process the organisation had to undergo to be able to communicate in the open manner weblogs afford.
Katrine has a background in infomatics and communication and has been a weblogger for almost 4 years. She works with strategic communication, change management and corporate weblogging. She has extensive experience with weblogging tools and believes that the weblog form influences the (weblog) content. She also has her very own personal weblog (in Danish).

Track: Communication
Get your hands dirty with Social Software
Social Software - or Web 2.0 applications - such as blogs, wikis, and podcasting creates new possiblities for companies to involve partners and customers much more closer in all aspects of the business; innovation, product support, sales and much more. Where traditional corporate communications often create more distance than closer relations (just think of the press release), social software does the opposite.
But how does one start using Social Software in a corporate context? On this session we will work practically with blogs, wikis and other examples of Social Software and, on basis of that, discuss problems and possibilities.
To get the best out of this session, you should bring a laptop with wireless card. The session will be highly interactive and you will get your hands dirty.
