Bård Farstad is one of the co-founders of eZ Systems, the company that develops the Open Source Enterprise CMS eZ Publish.

Bård is CTO at eZ Systems and lives in Porsgrunn, Norway. Bård's background includes a degree in software engineering and electronics and he has been working in the Open Source industry since 1999. He has also contributed several articles for various Internet technology magazines and speaks regularly at Content Management and Open Source conferences.

In his spare moments, Bård likes to spend time with his two daughters and play the guitar.
